Birthday or Conception Day?
Do you think your birthdays should be the day you were conceived or the day you were born?
Before you popped out of your mom, you lived in some sacred, maternal protective bubble for nine months. So, we are just going to thrash those number of months away as gestation period?

Birthdays have been called many thing since the rise and fall of trends, social media influencer and the woke ones — life anniversary while Dumb and Dumber say ‘Happy Womb Escape’. Don’t let me even get started on ‘In addy to you’.
Birthday is just telling time more accurately because in the olden days, no Apple Watch or MTN correct time. All they had was the moon, sun, some festival or seasons.
The Egyptians were the first people to start celebrating birthdays, then the Greeks modified it with birthday candles and it evolved into a form of protection. They would light candles to bid evil spirits away and dispel darkness. Then the Romans were the first to celebrate mere men; no Pharoah or spirits or gods. Just a birthday celebration.
German bakers were the ones that started the culture of the birthday cake and the popular Happy birthday song is a remix.
Today, when we celebrate birthdays; we want to share a secret project we have been working on, some new product or services, a new line to be launched or a new book to be published. Birthday celebrations have turned into value proposition and content creation days now and don’t get me wrong, I am here for this.
